It’s about time I start being a cheerleader for the bloggers I admire and get on the #SoSS train! Saturdays are usually spent with my HusDom in the woods, so it’s not a big blogging day for me, but I just realized that if I start this post each Monday, I can get it finished by Saturday! Who’d a thought? Here are some of my favorite posts this past week.
Photos
Life a Beach from Purple’s Gem
This is such a pretty photo! The colors are beautiful and remind me of my favorite sea shells I used to collect when we would visit my grandma in Florida when I was a little girl. The pinks, oranges and purples evoke that perfect beachy feeling. Gem looks gorgeous, of course, and I love how her body pops out from the flat landscape.
Upside Down from Little Switch Bitch
The view from this angle is extraordinary, and I feel privileged to be among those that can say that they’ve seen it. LSB’s lovely shape and flawless skin are certainly highlighted in this photo. This shot is perfectly simple and simply beautiful.
Pitching a Tent from No Pants Endurance
Funny enough, we were this close to having a very similar photo for this weeks Sinful Sunday because we were also in a tent this weekend. I’m afraid that ours wouldn’t have turned out as great as this one. The punny title makes this POV photo even better, and it reminds me of that wonderful feeling of waking up outdoors.
Fiction
Sadistic Procedures (One) by Kristan of Lascivity
I love stories like this with elements of teasing, denial and torment. This one reads almost like a how to manual which makes it unique and interesting. My HusDom would certainly be interested in this type of play.
Another Hot August Night by Jupiter’s Lair
Unnffff! This was hot. Jupiter has such a way with words, and she describes something that I do quite often in a way that makes it seem so much more exotic and sexy than a simple finger bang. This sentence right here really got me: “Desire like this is like the magma from a volcano, with unstoppable heat and liquid oozing unchecked from fiery caverns”.
Auntie Jeanie by Deviant Succubus
I want an Auntie Jeanie! I think we all could use a person in our lives that we could just completely open up to without fear of judgement or retribution in any form. This story grabbed me from the get go and held me until the very end. I smiled, I teared up, I got goosebumps. I just loved it!
Put Me Into Slut Space by Violet Fawkes
Yes, sometimes you just need this. Violet paints such an incredible picture with her words in this short fiction piece written for the Masturbation Monday prompt. When I grow up, I want to write like this!
Non-Fiction
A Large Penis Does Not a Great Lover Make by Morag’s Moist Musings
The point she makes here is one that sits close to my heart, one that I will shout from the mountain tops. I’ve had partner’s with big penises and I just don’t think they are anything to write home about. Having a large dick jack hammering in and out of you is just not pleasant. Big dicks hurt me when in doggy style which is one of my favorites. I just don’t like them. I’ll take an average one with some talent and care over a big one any day!
Future Self by Purple’s Gem
This post was hilarious and sweet and spot on for the F4TFriday Prompt. PS went back in time to tell his younger self how things are going to turn out in the future. I wish we could all do this for our younger selves or for the young people we know now for that matter! Most of the time, even though it seems like life will never improve, things work out for the best.
Site Security: An Example (Nightmare) of Why You Shouldn’t Ignore It by May More via The Smutlancer
This post got me thinking about my own habits with my site’s security. I know nothing about any of this stuff, writing code, finding corrupted files. I’m glad we have people like @DomSigns to help, because otherwise I would be completely lost. This is an important post for all bloggers to read so that hopefully we can prevent this from happening to us. If you haven’t read this yet, read it!
Not Cutesy or Endearing by Molly Moore
Molly said everything that I wanted to say in my own post but was too afraid to. She was brave enough to delve into the issues the prompt song still evokes today, toxic masculinity, rape culture, misogyny and a lack of equality in our society. We have come a long way since that song was popular, but we still have miles to go.
The Price of Love by Floss
Floss really opens up about her grief and how she tries to cope with it on a daily basis. It was difficult to read, and even as I skim over it a second time, I’ve got tears in my eyes. It’s a lesson to us all that we all grieve in different ways and that’s perfectly okay. My favorite line is so perfect and we should all keep it in mind: “I suspect the intensity of my grief is the price I pay for being loved so well.” You can’t have light without darkness and you can’t have happiness without sadness. That’s something I try to keep in mind when I’m feeling blue!
Posts from blue
Nudes was chose by Annie Savoy as one of her top five favorites for Sinful Sunday!
My Masturbation Monday post was about honor bondage.
Molly chose my post Wait Silently as one of her featured posts for Elust 119. Go and check out all of the amazing submissions featured in this months anthology!
This weeks Wicked Wednesday prompt proved to be an interesting and controversial topic! I wrote about what masculinity means to me and how my husband embodies the qualities of a truly good man.
I wrote about role play for Submissy’s Tell Me About… prompt where Hermione Danger and others come out to play!
