Self-suspension is an exercise in strength, physically and mentally. Even now, as I type out this caption while laying in bed, I can feel a delicious soreness in my right thigh as I stretch it upwards, giving my toes relief from the stifling heat of the covers. As I roll over, my body stretching and awakening in the cool air of the early morning, I notice my back, my core, my arms. They are all thanking me for the attention I paid them this weekend. Mentally, I am counting the days until I can do it again.
